Maggie said… - I just checked our surf report and the waves are going to start increasing later in the day tomorrow and should go to 3-5 foot on Friday and hold through the weekend. It says that Monday they should start decreasing. The nice thing is they look like they are going to be well groomed and powerful and the sets will be spaced out. The Florida beaches are almost all sand breaks the only reefs that I can think of would be in the Keys. The biggest waves I have surfed is double overhead and I don't think I want to go any bigger. Plus I will only surf those when the conditions are good...I am not into victory at sea. Sooo that means I have only surfed double overhead a couple of times. I really don't like the hurricane soup bowl stuff. I stay out of that....I want to live. =] When I catch the reform I have learned to only pump when I really have to.
I watched that competition in Costa on FUEL like last week. I will definitely look him up on facebook. I have been very fortunate by the grace and help of God for my sponsors and the advertising that I have done. God is always the force in my life. If he lives in you and you want him to guide you and you do it with complete trust things will come your way. Surfing is a passion in my life that will never leave me. It is what taught me to reach past my excuses of why a can't do something and work to make it happen. I have so much more to learn and hopefully next year I will get to Costa to work on some good waves and step my surfing up even more. =]

- The waves are small but ridable right now. We have a swell starting to come in on Saturday and I can't wait!! I have been working all summer on catching the reform so I can take smaller waves all the way in and I finally have it down. That probably seems goofy to you like super easy but our waves can be so bad sometimes so it took me awhile to get this down. But now on really small days I can get a descent ride out of it. But Saturday is supposed to be really good and pick up after that. Big waves do not scare me and I can't wait to get on them. =] So much fun!!
I hope your little boy it doing well he is so darn cute. =]

- tugger most call me tugz...i got it n hawaii from frenchi...it was a name on the back of a water truck in large letters....its becuz i have ADD and ADHD and i tug on peoples shirts for attention...i hated it so of course it stuck...now im used to it and think its weird wen people call me heather

- omg that south was the best waves we have had in awhile. i cudnt surf sat but i surfed churches sunday and it was reeling in.......hit up i got ur shot he goes in the water with you!

- That is amazing! If he didn't flinch at that he is definitely going to rip! I was at an ESA comp today (I got 2nd in the shortboard finals) and our micro menehunes have no fear. We have several dads who are out there all the time with their little kids and they are ripping! You are going to have an amazing connection with him. My mom is always there with me and I love it. I think the next generation is going to make us look really bad. =]

- I'm 2 years and 5 months and I can take any baby out. I've surfed triple over head (my size - 9 - 10 foot faces), I own Swamis, and I've had 2 barrels on one wave that were easily double overhead.
